Vendor Application

We are looking for unique vendors to participate in the 2nd Annual Convergence Music and Art Festival on Saturday, September 21, 2024! Please review all of this information carefully to ensure you understand the role and expectations of festival vendors.
 

The Convergence Street Festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, September 21. Vendors are expected to remain set up for the duration of the event and are responsible for providing their own tent, table, and chairs.

 

PLEASE NOTE: Applying does not guarantee acceptance, nor is acceptance on a first-come-first-served. Vendors will be selected from all applicants who submit by the deadline, and applications will be reviewed once the application closes. Artists, artisans, handmade products and Durham Region-area vendors will be given top priority. We seek creative, innovative work that respects copyright law and other cultures and avoids generic, over-saturated marketplace trends. In the interests of product diversity, applications will also be considered based on the overall balance of categories within all vendor submissions.

Please DO NOT contact organizers regarding the results of your application. When decisions are made, you will be contacted. Responses will not be sent to vendors requesting early results, special treatment, or specific locations. Please DO NOT telephone, text, DM, or use social media comments for vendor-related requests/communications. All official communications will be exclusively via email from info@oshawatourism.com.  If you require any assistance with completing your application, you may reach out via email only to info@oshawatourism.com.

Any application received after the deadline will be placed on a waiting list.
 

Successful applicants will be contacted by mid-June.
 

If accepted, you will be sent a vendor contract and an invoice. It is imperative that these forms, along with confirmation. A Certificate of Insurance is mandatory for participation and must name The Greater Oshawa Chamber of Commerce and the City of Oshawa as additionally insured.

Location: CONVERGENCE reserves the right to choose your vending location and will assign all locations without exception. Vendors choosing not to set up where assigned or choosing to relocate will be asked to leave the event area without a refund.
 

All vendors must comply with the provisions of all Canadian and Provincial laws, City of Oshawa By-Laws, Licensing and Health and Safety regulations.
